This school has a lot to offer its students. The key is Parent involvement. You cannot expect a school to raise and teach discipline to your child, that is your job. Also, Randolph is a suburb. Yes, it is diverse, but it is not an inner city school. I cannot say enough about the staff and how we were treated. My children have done well at this school and I feel sorry for those that had a negative experience. Get involved with your kids!
I think the school is ok. The staff is really wonderful considering the constant ever-deepening problems that face the district, such as lack of funds, highly qualified teachers, and basic subjects like art, gym, and music. I will say that under all of these unfortunate circumstances the teachers really care. My son had Mrs. Anderson two years in a row and I feel very lucky to have had the pleasure of her kind demeanor and creative teaching.

The academic program is sufficient but the quality and caring is lacking in regards to student interaction. For an inner city like school, there are no programs in place for positive student socialization and the principal is lacking in parent communication skills and student concern. Our child had many problems at this school and was transfered to another town by our choice. Please reconsider moving to this town as they are cutting all budgets and things are not looking good for the future!

Great school, and excellent caring staff. They work hard and have a lot of commitment -and it shows.
