What a great school! I was initially worried about the school b/c of the size but both my husband and I are very, very pleased. The teachers, at least those we've experienced and those of our friends, are fabulous. The communication with our teachers is more than I expected and I am so happy about that. My son, who is very bright but bores very easily is finally excited to go to school. This is the first time I've gotten info on what he did during his day! It's also a wonderful school to volunteer with. A great many parents are involved both with the classrooms as well as with Meadowlane's well-organized volunteer program, Apple Corps. Go Mustangs!
Meadowlane Elementary and Intermediate schools are absolutely amazing. My daughter, who has a few special needs regarding reading and math, has thrived at this school. Her teacher this year, Mr. Boyer, is an absolute God-send. He's really worked hard to adhere to my daughter. She's used to learning how to adhere to schools and what they offer, but this year she's actually learning - because she's comfortable. :) We'd move just to stay in this school zone - hands down.
Meadowlane Elementary is a true community. The culture is positive and nurturing. This makes my children thrive both academically and socially. I am also impressed with their traditions and high expectations! This is the best school in Brevard County!
