My daughter has attended the school since it opened. We feel fortunate that she was able to be part of this school's beginnings because the teachers and faculty are committed to the education of the children. Mrs. Alvey is one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever come across in the K-6 system. I wish the teachers in California were rewarded/paid based on the performance of themselves and their students. I feel this school would a benefit to any child in the Oakdale School District.
This is the first year my children grades 1 and 2 have attended Sierra View and I am thrilled with the school. All of the staff is very freindly and helpful. I can not say enough great things about this school. They do have a great PTC and the students reap the benefits! Thank you for everyone who had made are transition to this school so great.
Sierra View has become an excellent school with so many opportunities and programs to enhance our children's education. In addition to high leadership by the Administration, the teachers and staff are eager, helpful and professional. There were lots of extracurricular activities to choose from ranging from fine arts to sports. In addition the PTC was a strong force of dedicated volunteers.
