I am a involved parent at Todd Grant. I encourage every parent or caregiver to always be involved and know what your children are learning. Every parent, no matter how busy, can be in 'the know'. Write notes back and forth to the teacher. This is your child, it is your responsiblity to keep up with them.
I have had both good and bad experiences. 08-09 school year was a disaster. My 2nd grader who ususally excells in all areas was suddenly hating school. I found that it was the teacher who was 'Tired' of teaching. When asked why i was not informed of any academic trouble the teachers response was it is the students responsibility to inform you. WOW! This year is very different. I have a good dialogue with my kids teachers. No Problems
I have had a great experience with my son coming from Camden Co to Todd Grant. His grades have increased a lot.
