It's a great school! Most parents don't really understand and say that it's a bad school because their kids get bad grades or their kids aren't involved with the activities. i went there for 2 years and both years i made high honor roll for every single term. it was hard, the teachers are really kind and strict at the same time. if you need any help they stay after school to help you. most kids don't take education seriously making their parents think the school is bad.
Great teachers and supports systems. Has wonderful extra-curricular activities!!! Wonderful environment to learn and grow!!!
I have had the prevligue to attend AMS for three years. The teachers we open to giving extra help before or after school. The after school activities were well run and a great place to be aftre school. My previous principal was always strict to keep us children in order but she cared about us and our saftey. They staff were always a pleasure to be around. I LOVE AMS!
I am currently a 7th and 8th grade teacher at Altantic Middle School. I have previously taught at both Broadmeadows and Point Webster. The attitufe of the teachers and administration at this school far exceeds any other I have been exposed to. Additionally, the motto of respect includes all adults and children in the buildfing- respect for others, and respect for self. The Administration, guidance and teachers are without a doubt fully involved in their students success, and if any parent feels otherwise then it is their responsibility to call or email their child's teacher to straighten things out. Personally, I beleive that my students' success if my success, and I welcome all parent calls or letters. Teachers have over 100 children they are responsible for, most parents may have a few, making it more reasonable for parents to call teachers with concerns than the other way around.
