My son was failing in the middle school he attended previously. We did not know what we as parents could do except for just put up with the old status quo. One teacher in particular was making my son feel as though 'she hated him'. We had never heard such words from our son in all the years he had gone to school. After talking with several other parents, we found this to be a widespread problem that know one, not even the schoolboard, was willing to do anything about. That has changed since enrolling my son in the Gold Oak Charter School Program! His grades have improved and most importantly, his good attituded and willingness to learn have come back!
My 7th grade daughter loves this school. She has done better in Math & Science than she ever has before. It's a great atmosphere for learning!
I went to Gold Oak Arts Charter School for two years and wouldn't change it for the world. The wheels were a bit rusty at first, but the second year they'd been oiled and greased, and the third, im sure greased even more, and now they spin quite freely and well. The school just keeps getting better and better! I wouldn't have wanted to spend seventh and eighth grade anywhere else.
My daughter has attended Gold Oak Arts Charter for 2 years. Since coming to the school she has learned to believe in herself and her ability to learn. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her.
