We chose for our daughter to go to this school because of all of the positive things that we'd heard from other parents. We are so pleased. This school is exactly the type of school that I want for my daughter to experience. The liberal arts programs spark creativity in learning and that is something that is incredibley valuable. The students sometimes get to experience things that they would not otherwise get at another school or at home, ex. theater or musical performances. The thing I like the most is that it seems to be important that the children be allowed to be children and enjoy their childhood. I couldn't ask for a better place for our daughter to experience as an elementary school experiencel

Acedemia seems more pointed towards liberal arts rather than basic education cores. We have never been contacted for any pro-active involvement.

Burkhart Elementary places a huge emphasis on reading. I have a daughter there now and she has become so enthusiastic about reading. This school will place your child according to his or her abilities, in a group that works for them. It is a small school and all of the teachers really care about their students. I am thankful for schools like Burkhart.

I believe that Burkhart is wonderful. My daughter went through Burkhart and now is excelling at Perry Meridian, now my son is in first grade, and I have nothing but wonderful experiences.
