I have mixed feelings about this school. My child's Kindergarten and First Grade teachers were wonderful! They were both new teachers in the district, and we found them to both be fabulous. The teachers invited me in to classroom events and always made me feel welcome. I also enjoyed the close communication I've always had with the educators. The problem lies within the administration here. I enjoy attending my child's events at school; however, the principal is never present for them. She never welcomes us into her school, unless it's for some workshop on her own time. I feel that this principal is snooty and doesn't want to be seen in the public eye. Very unsual for a principal.

I am very pleased with the education my children receive at Laurel Valley. The activities provided are wonderful. They have reading activities, special out of classroom activities, and children's workshops. Parents are encouraged to participate in activities and the parent support for this school is top notch. My children love attending school at Laurel Valley and are receiving an excellent education. The diversity is limited, but is actually better than the nearby school districts. I did not attend Laurel Valley, so I was not sure what to expect. My children had previously attended a private school. I was very pleased with their education at the private school. However, I believe their education at Laurel Valley is comparable if not better than private school without the extra price tag.
