This is a great school! The principal and office staff always knows who I am and who my children are. The teachers and aid staff are committed to helping our children to be the best they can be. The is a lot of parent volenteers and a very supportive PTA that provide a lot of extras for the kids.
I have nothing but praise for this school. I looked at private, charter and Elm. I instantly felt comfortable. They do quite a bit with muti-sensory learning. The kids do not just sit and do worksheets. There are quite a few aids and kids and pulled out and worked with one on one, plus the higher number of adults around, the fewer problems. There is a high level of parent committment and involvement in the school. The principal is wonderful and always seems to know me and my children. When you ask people about Elm Road, they don't just like it, they love it and proceed to tell you about all the wonderful teachers.
