My son is severely affeected by ADHD. He has been at Button Gwinnett since kindergarten and the staff and teachers have always been wonderful and understanding in working with my son's special needs! When we decided to buy a home, we made a point of buying in the Button Gwinnett district so that we would not have to change schools. We have always been beyond pleased with his teachers. He has made great academic strides in the last five years.

My child used o go to BGE, Kindergarten and I am glad she does not have to anymore! We just moved and now I have to worry about her not being able to go to first grade because my child did not get the support she would have needed. The leadership at this school is very unfriendly and did not seem like they wanted to help us, since they knew we were moving! Also I think for Kindergarten there is not enough time for making friends and socializing at all. Outside play time is very limited and lunchtime reminds me of a bootcamp! Silence is the big word! If I had the chance to do it over again, I would have moved in a different are, just to keep her from haveing to go to that school!!!

BGE is a fantastic place to work. We are continuously striving to find effective and innovative ways to help our students reach the standards that we have been challenged with. We have a very supportive administration and our staff is truly like a family. I love it here and hope my students feel the same way I do about it!

I am a staff member here at BGE, and have to say after reading through all the reviews, I am pretty disappointed in them. I have to agree that our school in general has under gone many changes, but as policies in Education change, so must we. The faculty and staff at BGE work hard every day to ensure that your child is not only prepared for their next grade, but for life in general. I feel that there are a lot of great things going on in our school. I would like to address the parents in this next statement. Please do not ever feel that the your child's teacher is not interested in your concerns regarding your child and their education. Make those parent/teacher conferences and let us put our heads together and have the people who spend the most time with the child create a plan for you.Teamwork!!
