I have 2 children enrolled a farmington and it is a GRE888888T School I really am thankful for this school...
Wonderful school! We have been pleased with everything from academics to extracurricular. PTA is awesome, too!
My child had attended another local school. When she came to Farmington, it was the first year she had been challenged. The teachers and administrators work well together to create a great school.
Like any school, you have to get the 'good teachers' to have a high quality education. My child had terrible teachers in K and 1st - now in 2nd her teacher is very good. I was involved in discussing the issues with administration but they failed to respond and provided lip service. Although it is not possible, I would send my child elsewhere if time permitted. Most of the education in K and 1st fell upon us as parents due to teaching at the lowest level. So of this is due to 'No Child Left Behind' affect, but there needs to be better instruction in the first years and not just 'baby sitting'.
