Mojave Senior High School

My children both attended MUSD for their school careers. Beginning at RPU, continuing on to CCMS, and finally Mojave High School. They were both committed students and received support in their academics. Mojave High has an excellent math program with high standards of achievement. Both of my children presently attend State Colleges and are doing very well. Mojave High School overall is a school where any child can succeed with guidance and support from their teachers. The teachers provided that for my children. I believe it because they are doing well in college.

I'm a senior at Mojave High School and by the looks of it, the high school is shaping up...but not it's people. There's a lack of discipline in every class I attend where the teachers must baby the kids like we're still in kindergarten. Hopefully the class clowns realize that the rest of their life starts next year and they might do something to turn around their lives and get with the program. The real world isn't going to appreciate an attitude problem.

I am a former student of MHS. First off, one must know that Mojave has a great deal of students who are not motivated--this is not the teachers fault! Yes, the school is an old school and needs a great deal of work, but that takes money! Students can make the most of the courses if they choose to. There are some great teachers--(Mr. Hartsock, Mrs. Shelby, Mr. Veith) who take time with their students to help them. Parent involvement is at a minimum in most cases. If teachers did not have to deal with the discipline problem students, more teaching, and learning could take place.
