Pulaski Elementary Fine Arts Academy

Pulaski Fine Arts Academy is an internationally recognized leader in art integration. They have had a 30% improvement in test scores in just 3 years. Just spending an afternoon there I can feel an excitement coming from the students, teachers and parents that I have never felt anywhere else. This is not a private school. These are families who once lived in this neighborhood and were eased out by rising property taxes. They kept their students at Pulaski because the school was working. They put alot of energy into Pulaski. They have a policy of total participation from kids, parents and faculty. These teachers and parents are the bravest of the brave. It is well documented that they are revolutionizing the field of education here at Pulaski. One of the most unique learning environments the city has ever seen. *This would be on the caviat that CPS doesn't change their student body next year into a segregated one!!!!

Principal is not a good leader, but most teachers are above average.

I think Pulaski has a great staff. They are alway available before, during and after school to work with their students.
