My daughter is in her second year at Oaks Christian (7th grade). We took her out of the Conejo School district because even the GATE program was not challenging. At Oaks she has been encouraged academically, musically and artistically. The facilities to succeed in these areas are fantastic! TV studio, Art studio, digital design class, swimming pool--All in a Middle School!! The dance and drams programs are amazing. The teachers really care if your kid doesn't understand, and they work hard to help the student. This school instills a love for each other that can not ever be obtained in any conejo school education. Our daughter can not wait to get to school each day! We are so blessed.
We put two daughters through Oaks and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Yes, it is expensive, and yes, we are in debt because of it, but it is a sacrifice we were willing to make because our children's future means so much to us. Our girls are intelligent, independent and well-rounded individuals, and will hopefully accomplish much in their lifetimes, partly due to their time spent at Oaks.
Wow, I can't believe that anyone could be disappointed with Oaks. My daughter attended 2 years in the Middle School, and will be beginning her second year in High School. She is not an 'athlete'. She loves the arts. Eventhough it is tough for her to get in the theatre performances, she loves the school, like nothing I have ever seen before. I love that the school brings Jesus to the forefront of everything. I am thrilled with the strong challenging academics. ... when I have been concerned regarding my daughter's frustration, or performance in any particular class, I have contacted the teacher. The teachers are excellent at communicating back with me, quickly. They truly work to see how we could improve things. This school is top notch in all they do (arts, sports, spirituality, leadership, technology, etc.)! I so appreciate the true heart behind all the administration and staff!
Oaks offers a variaty of afterschool curriculums for the Kids to choose, and also offer a variaty of activities for the parents to get involve, it is close home and we are bless to have my daugther here. She really like the teachers, Principal and the School.
