Family Christian Academy is a great Christian school. My Son has attended since K-4 and he loves it. Awesome School.
This school uses the ABeka learning resource for their academic program. We love this program. My daughter was a high honors student from pk-4 in public school, but struggled to remain at that level in the 5. After switching to this school, my daughter regained the enthusiasm to learn and to strive to reach her potential. When she took the SAT last year, she scored Post High School on 85% of the subjects tested for 6th grade. This school's focus is on academics. The teachers are loving, attentive and truly concerned about your child's well being. You are notified by a weekly report of all quizzes, test homework etc. Although it does not have sports, it does offer art, drama, music, woodworking and extracurricular club activities. There is no parent involvement with regard to academics. However, we work as a team on all projects.
