Families are very involved and support the teachers and administration! Academic programs and classes are excellent and the sports programs are good but not taking the attention away from the acedemics. The after-school program is what I am involved with (as a volunteer) and it dove-tails with the school requirements. We focus first on homework and get that out of the way and then have 'fun factory'. The kids love it and are safe until their parents pick them up at 5:00 or 5:30. Plus their homework is done so they can enjoy the evening and can get to bed at a reasonable hour. The parents love not having to 'nag' their children to do homework!
