This school has a few superior teachers, ones who want the most from a student. Who ask for respect and keep the standards high. My child excels in school and wants a challenge, she was challenged more at Wilson and some of what she has been taught in middle school is what she learned in Elementary. I truly wish the school guidelines were followed closely and parents utilized more, in hopes to support the teachers and allow them to teach at a higher level.

Coming from a school that I now feel was superb this school is low on my rating list. It has very low test scores. Very high poverty level in the school. The prominent language used is not english but spanish. There are gang problems at this school. Racial problems as well. A very small school. I sometimes feel that the teachers are just trying to keep them busy, and not really teaching them. Lots of just 'busy work'. I never hear anything from the school. Thier comunication with me in 0. Never any papers sent home and definatly no phone calls.
This school is ok but the principal and teachers should do alittle more when kids get in trouble or when a student is getting bullied.
