I am the parent of two children who previously attended Pearl Stephens and I was very displeased with the way the school was managed by the principal. My understanding is that school should be a place for children to grow and learn and not a place for teachers and the principal to lower the child's self esteem. I can only speak for my experience when I say that Pearl Stephens' administration could stand to be revamped.

I have 3 children that go to this school, they are amongst about 5 of the white children. They come home daily speaking inappropriately and using slang. I think that the rezoneing is not working and these children should be offered another chance at another school. They do not help my child with disabilites in anyway. It is a struggle and a fight just to get them to see a counseler there. If they are the minority there what options do we have ... none.

In the year 2003-04 my child was the only white child in his class room.In the other classroom there were maybe 2 white students in each. I thought the redistricting was suppose to resolve this problem, to even it out.It seems like this school is not treating everyone the same.why should we participate in fund raiser when the money is never shown. I hope this problem gets resolve because it's getting to the point I want to pull my child out of this school. I'm not the only one. It's bad when my child doesn't want to go to school. My child cries every morning, that he/she does not want to go to school. I really hope this gets resolved. thank you

I'm very concerned about the racial balance at this school. I don't believe the statistic for student ethniticity are correct. My son is one of only two white children in his class, compared to his previous school where his classes were about 50-50.
