We have had the privilege of our children attending Atlantic Middle School since 1996. The teachers are incredible and truly interested in their students achievements. In my opinion their strength programs would be language arts and reading, although science is close behind. Their weakest programs would be social studies. Their extracurricular activities are good but should not be the reason you send your child here. There is always politics involved in these programs. The leadership is currently in need of some fine tuning. We are lucky we have such strong teachers. Our administrator needs some help. He tends to not nip problems in the bud, which can lead to some disciplinary problems. The students are absolutely the best. They are very driven and competitive. I tend to believe this has to do with such a strong fine arts feel in our town. We are very talented in this area.
