Things ARE looking up since my last post. The new Principal is exactly what is needed. Already there is new energy and changes for the good. The teachers seem a lot happier and motivated to have new leadership! It is still up to the Parents to get more involved though - Mclane is on its way to being a great school again!
We are new to McLane school but so far we have been happy. The teachers try hard to bring in positive changes. I liked the energy at the Grin assemblies each friday. Schools are all good its what you make of it.
McLane has some obvious problems. All of my kids have gone there, and my youngest is still there. Many of the experienced and qualified teachers have departed. But... some positives are the new teaching class they brought on last year, and they have two very exciting male teachers that bring a lot of new, NEEDED, energy. GRIN assemblies are fun and the kids all look forward to them.
Mclane Offers so much for the children. Positive support! Engaging the outdoors and the community while incorporating school curriculum. New Teachers, new energy has been brought to Mclane!
