I am a current student at BHS. I moved this past summer from out of state and was very worried about starting my first day of high school without knowing anyone. By 2nd period, I had met new people already and I felt like I wasn't the 'new kid' anymore. As the year has gone on, it has just gotten better. The teachers are willing to do anything for the students and the students strive to do their best. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good high school in the Boonsboro/Hagerstown area.

this school is a horrible school. many of the teachers are in-expeienced and just not good teachers. they dont spend enough time on one subject at a time.

As a Dad, I believe this school and the middle school have been excellent thus far. Like all schools, there are a few teachers who push liberal politics and seem to have their own agenda. But, overall, the school is very good. My son is a solid 'B' student and is active in sports. The coaching staff is fair and consistent. Comparing this school to other area schools that my kids have attended, it is far superior. The students act responsibly and respectful and there is a sense of community and patriotism that is refreshing.

I am currently a student at BHS. Not a great student but above average and not popular or unpopular so i do not feel that i have a biased opinion. There is little diversity in the school but i feel the school does an above average job at preparing its students for the outside world. The problems people describe in their comments are issues that all schools face. Boonsboro is not an exciting school by any means but it does a sufficient job for its students.
