I have gone to Williams for six years; it is a fine school. I cannot compare it directly to a public middle school or high school because I attended public elementary school, which is inherently different. That said, all accounts indicate that the workload is significantly more than at most local public middle schools and high schools. The faculty is absolutely outstanding; the students are excellent as well. In regards to certain specific criticisms in previous reviews: Private schools, by their nature, need money by donations; if you send your child to a private school of any sort (including college) you will be getting these calls. Also, as of 2007, the average time each teacher has spent at Williams is 10 years. I would highly recommend this school to all.

Our children were straight A students at our local public school (so proud!). HOWEVER, they rarely had homework and were not being challenged. Also, every year another extra curricular activity would be cut due to budget constraints. We moved them to Williams after learning of Williams exceptional curriculum and reputation. We have been !! WOWED !! by Williams. The administration and faculty are focused on the best interests and success of the students. Our children, who never cracked a book in the past, have now learned how to study correctly. Williams challenges students and prepares them to be successful at college and into their adult lives. From a social point of view, Williams students enjoy sports, art, theater, Harvard Model Congress, you name it! The students are supportive of each other and I am convinced that our children have made lifelong friends at Williams.

As a parent with two children at Williams I am thrilled with the quality of education they are receiving. The teachers are excellent. The administrative staff and faculty work extremely well together to ensure a top quality education. My favorite thing about the school is the way the students accept and support each other. Whether a student is into drama, music, athletics, whatever...there is acceptance and support from fellow students. Students that graduate Williams (and it isn't an easy school workload wise) are well prepared to be successful at college and the future beyond. Bravo to the Williams Staff and Faculty!!
