Grove did an awful job and the grade's were given to my son the teacher's don't teach they focus on thing's that are not relevant. Don't waste money that isn't needed.

I am so pleased how my child is developing and blossoming into a strong young woman who is growing socially, emotionally and academically. Staff's patience, knowledge and guidance has made my child more self-confident, accountable and responsible in her day to day life. The academics have really been beefed up and those who are academically gifted can excel and those who need more assistance can get it. The therapists are very dedicated and I love the team approach! Very few schools keep parents in the loop and consider them part of the team. Grove has not only saved my daughter, but our marriage and our family. My child will never be cured, however, she has a much better understanding of self and what she needs to stay healthy. When she goes off to college she will know how to advocate for herself....thank you Grove School Milieu!

I just returned from a parent workshop and was so impressed with what the school is offering our son. The therapeutic component of the school is just as strong as the academics and activities. We are lucky to have a pretty active kid- he indoor rock climbs, plays soccer, and goes to the gym each week. While the campus is not the greatest, they are building a new school for September and frankly my son isn't there for fancy buildings. I would the staff to offer more opportunities to talk with other parents as that has been most helpful to us.
My son has ben at Grove for the past three years. The program has been very helpful and he has learned how to express himself and control his anxiety. He is at the point of not getting much more out of the program going forward since the school is focused on therapy, not strong academics, real life experiances and is overly restrictive once the kids have reached a certain point. Once you're child has gotten the benefits of thereapy and is ready to move on, don't let them try to hold onto to them out of fear of change- this school has a specific purpose and after that, there isn't much benefit or preparation derived from overstaying there. The staff try hard but the campus is rundown and there is no gym and few physical outlets fora a population who really need a healthier diet and lifestyle.
