My preference was to homeschool but my husband insisted that we send our children to public school, and we had heard good things about Cedar Grove. We have not been disappointed! We're in our 3rd year at Cedar Grove and so far have felt very blessed to have caring, approachable, professional teachers who have, for the most part, been great communicators both with us and our children. They welcome parental involvement, and I love being welcomed into that world and getting a feel for what and how my children are being taught, and by whom. The faculty and staff have also been welcoming of me and my younger children as we come in to help out in various ways. We feel very blessed to be zoned for Cedar Grove Elem., and have decided that we will not be leaving this area until our children are out of Cedar Grove.

The school has the feel of a private school. All staff know both of my children by name! That is incredible for the school to have so many students!

Best little school any where. PTO--Voted best any where for 2006-2007. Parent involvement is excellent. Many extracurricular activities. Academic programs cannot be beat. Just an all around great school.
This is an awful school. I had my child moved. The teachers, administrators, and cafeteria staff are horrible!!! The teachers send no communication home, the principal and vice-principal don't communicate well with parents, and the cafeteria is a taker of kids money. Please consider another school if you are moving to Smyrna
