Great school. Good teachers. Dicipline problems handled well. Lots of different programs, clubs, and sports.

I have two children at Rockledge High, and am very happy with the school. The academics are strong, the teachers are very capable and caring, the administration is skilled and accessible, the support staff is diligent. You really get the feeling that this is a happy, smoothly-functioning school; unlike some schools I've seen, there seems to be little grousing or complaining, and little tension among faculty or students. Facilities are good but not spectacular; what shortcomings exist are probably due to lack of district funding, not lack of care. Sports teams, arts groups and academic competition teams are strong. The Cambridge Program (similar to the International Baccalaureate), now in its second year at the school, will only strengthen this already impressive school. Parents can be involved through the Renaissance Program, Project Graduation, the School Advisory Council and of course, sports and arts (dance, band, etc.).
