Tilden is a school for special needs children. I applaud their efforts to make it an itergrated school. Go Tilden!!!
The well-trained teachers at Tilden are so helpful for kids like mine who have a speech delay. My son was in a small Special Day Class, and it really boosted his language and social skills. Sports 4 Kids is a great athletic program, O.T. and P.T. are available on-site, and most of all the staff is dedicated to giving both the special needs kids and the mainstream kids a good learning experience.
A wonderful, small integrated school. Tilden has classrooms for students with special needs along side regular ed students.Some classrooms are solely regular ed whilst others are only for Special ed students. The staff are amazingly dedicated, the community of students are caring and accepting of each other. There are sports and arts programs and the PTA is active with fundraising and community events. This school truly embodies the philosophy of education for all. It teaches tolerance of culture and ability as well as expecting the best from all the students.
