This is a great school made possible by the wonderful teachers and staff that care so much about the children. The prinicpal is awesome and really cares about the children. The school is clean and inviting. The school boasts high scores on the SOL tests. Teachers are 100% highly qualified in their subject area. This is the best school in Patrick County!
This is a small school in a small community. Everyone knows everybody and if you are not somebody; your child will surely know it. I have never seen so many cliques at such a early level. And I know from experience I was a student there in the 80's and now my children go there.
Well this is a touchy thing with me I think it would be a great school if some of the things that goes on could be handled a little different. I'm tired of my child being treated like a bag of dirty clothes when he forgets a book or speaks out of turn or just any little simple think he gets the type of punishment that just destroys his charcter. If the teachers can't control there class or I think maybe its taking the time to do there job then maybe they need to find something else to do.
