We have been at this school since it opened. The main reason we picked this school is for the project child teaching method! It has been amazing! My daughter is excelling in all subjects! School is interesting for her. She just doesn't sit all day looking at the same teacher. Mr Sawyer and the teachers are great. We feel very lucky to have this school and teaching method available to us!
My Child has gone to Imagine since it opened, and we have nothing but positive things to say about the experience here. Mr. Sawyer is a great leader, and all of the teachers my daughter has had have been excellent. She is reading well above grade level, and they have been able to accomidate her. We did not feel this way in her previous school. Project Child gives the kids the opportunity to work at their own level and to be successful. A little success leads to a lot more success.

We love this school!!! I have been teaching for more than 15 years, and I love project child. The learning and teaching styles are very experiential and real world. My daughter is excelling in all of her subjects. Her teachers are caring, energetic and great at teaching their chosen subjects. Mr. Sawyer, the principal, knows every student and parent by name. He is always involved with everything going on in the school. The computer lab is state of the art...I should know, my husband helped install it. The school is a warm, safe environment where I feel comfortable having my daughter all day. The curriculum is well rounded. In schools where there is no music or art, Imagine Charter at Broward has all specials !!! The school has doubled in size since last year for a reason. This is a great school!!!
This is our 2nd year at Imagine and both my 5th grader and 1st are thriving! It's a very hands on school which may not be for everyone since it isn't your normal sit for 6 hours at a desk and be taught. The children are taught a lesson and then through the project child method of learning, put that in to action through various methods in the class. My 1st grader enjoys both the science lab and the computer lab. We wanted a place where our kids would be challenged (which we weren't getting at our local A rated school) and where we had a voice to improve and enhance. The teachers are loving & wonderful-very receptive to feedback and encourage parent involvement. Car line is a challenge with double enrollment but 15 minutes for 600+ is pretty good. So glad the middle school is in the works!
