This is a school for students who are looking to do something with their future. My child is motivated and is preparing for college - this is the perfect school for her. Because it is a public school, many students try it and then leave because you have to have the smarts to make it here. That is what I love about it. The bar is high and that is the way all schools should be.

I think this is a great school! The kids who attend are top notch and college bound. The work is hard and it is teaching my daughter how to strive to be her best. The teachers are dedicated to the students. It is a small school and my daughter doesn't get pushed aside like she would at a big high school.
We attend Newpoint School in Tampa. After an initial adjustment period, my daughter has taken off academically. She made honor roll for the first time in years and has become increasingly more responsible for her own successes. With the online curriculum she is held accountable for her work on a daily basis without me having to constantly check up on her. Her teachers are very helpful and easy to communicate with. She loves working at her internship and never wants to miss school. I love the smaller school size because if problems do arise they are so much easier deal with. We will be back and be bringing friends next year.

I attend Newpoint Tampa and i must say that this school is horrible. The 'learn at your own pace' is just a draw in, you really don't...unless you want to get ahead, then apparently, that rule is golden. The teachers really don't seem to care, and they give us useless classes. For example, Project Period. We waste minutes doing something stupid, when we could be learning something valuable. Also, the drama is horrible. Everyone is snobby. And Apex is so confusing! Any time I have asked something about apex, the teachers really don't help. If you're thinking about sending your kid here I highly suggest otherwise.
