Welcome to the Coastal Academy. We are excited that you are considering a partnership with us in the education of your child. We have a homeschooling program geared toward supporting you, the parent, as the primary educator of your child. I look forward to chatting with you personally about our W.A.S.C. accreditated K-8 school and its unique educational program.
Coastal Academy is a top notch school where the parent is the primary educator and is supported by a team of teachers who have their credential. The principal runs an amazing school and does a fantastic job growing the school each year. She is truly concerned about the success of her students and parents!
Read the fine print before you enroll your child. I was not happy with the volunteer hours requirement for a homeschool charter, and other requirements and restrictions. It's probably a good fit for families who want to school-at-home, rather than homeschooling . If you are attracted to this school primarily because of the 'part-time' schooling option, shop around. There are other homeschool charters in various colors that offer similar settings.
The school seems to be behind in many things, my son is in the eighth grade and I can tell there is nothing that will support him for his future at this academy.
