This is a great school considering the resources it is given. We live in a very economically depressed area, and very few if any parents volunteer for anything besides fun activities. Our community needs to take a more active role in the education of our future generation. These young people will support more than just themselves. I noticed the claints in other reviews by local parents about low reading and math abilities - I wonder, what are these parents doing to help other than complain.

There are several good teachers at this school, but when a student requires extra help or considered 'Special Ed' it is eaiser to blame others or push under the carpet. Instead of lowering the 'goals' to meet the kid, then do what ever is required to bring the kid up to those goals. I have never seen a school with such low reading and writing abilities and it being excepted as O.K.

There are several good teachers in this school. The administration needs to make the change by replacing the principal and then I believe our children would actualy have a much better chance at enjoying their middle school years as well as finding themselves actualy lookng at a future that would include continuing with secondary education. Students have been crying for help for a long time but their cries have been ignored. It is time that someone listens. Maybe this post will get someone to look at the needs.
