I have 2 children who are graduates of this excellent elementary school. Both of my children are extremely successful students in middle school and high school. I give Sunset School all the credit for preparing them for these challenging years. My children are now enrolled at east coast schools and are ahead in some curriculum areas. They both took the standardized test for this state and scored in the 'advanced' category. Park County School District #6 has done an awesome job educating my children and there is nothing 'average' about the education they provide. Now I have the opportunity to compare the district we are in now to Park County #6, and hands down Park County is preparing their students for their futures, no matter where they end up geographically.
Staff extremely supportive of the children, of the parents and of each other. You will not find a more cohesive school in terms of helping a child succeed. Parental involvement is the key!
