My daughter used to go to this school for three wonderful years. We moved when she was about to enter the third grade. We moved and she came home crying every night saying she was bullied. I couldn't do anything because I knew at Scott, she was never bullied like the way she was at the other schools at the new state. She experienced so many schools, and not one she was happy with. Her second grade teacher at scott was Mrs. Tannahill, and she was so wonderful, and the kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Ward, was terrific! In the first grade, my daughter had three teachers in one big class filled with about fourty to fifety students.If you are looking forward to the Scott Magnet School for your child, this a recomended must to go to! It is so clean and delicous!(lunch, I mean)
We've recently moved back from another state and this is the first time my children have been to this school. All of the staff are very helpful , friendly, and have a genuinely positive attitude towards all who enter. I have noticed a great deal of improvement in my children's academic performance! Awesome school!
This is my son's first year attending and I have been very pleased. The teacher 'Mrs.Couch' notifies my of any concerns. This has been a really positive year for my son. From what I have seen the staff really cares about the kids. I really appreciate also the no tolerance for bullying.
This is most likely the best public elementary school in Topeka. The princible is amazing & the teachers are caring, loving, & responsible. The parents are really into the school & really into their child's education. They help out & participate in all of the extracurricular activities. As a former student I have to say that Scott Magnet Elementary School is the greatest!
