My child has been a student at CVES since kindergarten and I am very impressed with her progress. My child entered CVES as an English Learner and has transitioned very well. I attribute her growth to the very competent teachers and their professionalism in implementing an effective scaffolding program! Kudos to all of the CVES staff, you are true professionals inspite of the obstacles that have been presented to you within the past couple of years.

We pulled our son out of the school after grade 1. As stated in another review we found that his teacher was not very caring and not suited to teaching such young children. The classes are getting bigger, the Arts Masters programs are reduced, there is too much testing and too much home work. It's too academic for grades 1 and 2.

Most of the teachers are very nice and caring. A few are not. There is a problem with bullying at recess time because there is not much supervision.
