Parents are not welcome. Students watch a lot of TV, even in the library. It's very sad what this school has become.

I think that KES is as great school. The teachers spend a lot of extra time at school planning and getting things ready for their students. The teachers come to school on and off all summer to get things done for the school year. How many business people do you know give of thier time freely to get the job done. The staff is dedicated and really seems to care about each student. I believe that the academics are up to par here. Each teacher has to make sure that they are teaching the Tn state standards in their classroom. I think that it is sad that as big as our school is there is not more people involved in the PTO program at school. I must say that a lot of parents voluteer and spend some time reading and listenting to the children read in the classroom. The parents that are involved do a lot to help out.

I'm actually a student who attended KES K-5. I'm in 8th grade now, but I miss it! I never really realized how much fun it was. We were always having fun and never realized it. My friends and I always look back and wish we were still doing arts and crafts and all that fun stuff that we never really saw as being fun. It is a wonderful, clean, smart, and all around great school.
