My Children have attended BFCS for 5 years now and I are very pleased. The teachers truely care about the students, communicate well with parents, and the Abeka curriculum they use is wonderful! BFCS is a wonderful, Christian environment.
We enrolled our children in BFCS last year with an intent to try it out. We have been very pleased with the progress that our children have made. I love the positive environment they are in when they have to be away from home. I appreciate the values being taught by instruction and by example. We have been so pleased, our children will be returning this year (even though it is a 25 mile commute from our home). Great job to all those that care for and educate our children.
The discipline practices of this school are horrible. There is much favoritism. Some rules are enforced on some students but not on others. They say they are a Christian school, but their actions show otherwise.
I have been absolutely amazed at my childrens response to this environment. The absolute atmosphere of acceptance and caring exhibited by these children is a direct result of the example set by not only staff members, but the parent volenteers as well. Sporting events are an absolute joy to attend, filled with a spirit of good sportsmanship. And education you ask? My Pre-k student will advance to Kindergarden reading on nearly a 2cd grade level..... along with the rest of his class. But this spirit of excellence is not limited to just the lower school grades. It holds true for junior high and high school as well. If you have any doubts, call or take a tour. Talk with the students, parents and administrative staff. It's absolutely the best move I made in my childs achademic career.
