I have never know a school to be on a personal level more than SHES. The principal, Layne Hunley, knows the names of every student that walks through the door. The teachers and staff are so caring.
My daughter was new to SHES due to boundary re-alignments. We were met with open arms. My daughter immediately felt welcomed. I love this school, teachers & the principal. Mrs. Hundley has an open door policy with the students. They love to go see her with their good grades, etc. I feel truly blessed to be at SHES. And I will have a 5 yr old entering in the 2009-2010 academic year. I am very much looking forward to it. I have heard great things about Mrs. McKinley.
Has really good teachers, nice students, good campus. I had a really fun and educational childhood because of Shawnee Heights!
I love this school and I love my sons kindergarden teacher, Mrs. Mckinley! Im thinking about staying in topeka just because I love this school!
