Great school, extremely active PTA, new principal is doing a nice job. My son's teacher quickly identified an area where he needed more focused instruction and assistance, recommended the STARS program, and he's steadily showing improvement. Very strong parent/teacher communication. Both of my sons love their school.
Great School!!!! I think the new Principal is doing a fantastic job!! My children are much happier now. 03/11/09
Horrible school for some especially my child. No equality at all! Academics a priority for some and not for all. Not a great school. Only a good reputation. I wish my child was in another school. My child would be doing much better.
I changed schools twice until I landed at Watchung. What a fabulous school! Academics are a priority, but learning is fun. Great school culture, parent involvement, and teacher/principal concern for kids. When I switched my older daughter in the school in 5th grade, I was amazed at how all the teachers got to know who she was, so quickly. There's no comparison to the other schools. If you can't get in this year, then keep trying through school choice. Eventually, you will get in. It's worth it!
