My son is in kindergarten and he is loving it. His teacher does a great job keeping the children's attention and teaching them through play and interaction. The faculty has been great and the parents are very involved.

canyon creek elementary is stellar. our two children started in the middle of the school year due to a move, and the entire staff went over and above to welcome and include both of them! both their academic and social curriculum more tham exceded our expectations. what really won our utmost respect was the intamacy between the staff/students/parents. the principal, admin., and teachers interacted with our kids in such a fun and loving manner, it makes them crave to attend school and learn! you won't find a better school!

Canyon Creek doesn't have a good special education program. They place the students who are slow in learning in the regular classes. Therefore students who are able to accept higher level of academic challenges get held back. Parents whose children are performing above grade-level standard should consider admitting their children in the Elementary Advance Program.

Canyon Creek's academic standard is not high enough. The teachers are highly qualified but they don't challenge the students enough. Level of parent involvement is low. However, they do have quality music programs to offer. School playground needs to be improved to make it safer for the students.
