This year is my stepson's first experience with Owasso schools due to a change in parental custody. The difference has been dramatic. My son came with his own problems, learning disabilities, huge gaps in his former education and behavior issues related to ADD/ADHD. The teachers and staff at the Owasso Eighth Grade Center have just been a dream, helping us and him with this transition. Each teacher has been well-organized and accessible by phone and/or e-mail, so that it is easy to stay on top of our son's academic progress and behavior. The opportunity is wonderful for male and female sports, drama, journalism, computer, band, etc. Our son is in low-level academic classes for math and science, in a normal classroom where he works at a level and in an environment where he succeeds, finally! He also has a study/career skills class which has been a tremendous supplement. We're thrilled!
