My children have gone to public schools, been homeschooled and are now in Dehesa. It is a great option and a great school. I would say that the site that you choose may matter to you. Some sites are in nicer buildings than others, but overall, the education is great and the teachers are good. The staff is friendly.
Through Dehesa Charter School, my children are able to go beyond state standards to experience more meaningful and real-life learning experiences. The staff really understands personalized learning, and I appreciate all the support and resources my children and I receive. Dehesa is able to meet the needs of both novice and experienced home-schooling parents. We are here to stay.
I have been very happy with Dehesa. I am a first time homeschooling mother and have found that my facilitator has given me great ideas and curriculum to use with my son. I have been very happy with the enrichment classes and also the PE courses that have been offered for my son. This is a great school and the administration and staff are working very hard to make this a fantastic school!
Great freedom of choice. Unfortunately, especially for high school students, it is difficult to find rigorous program. They seem to be trying to address this and have added many on-line opportunities.
