My children do attened Becker. The class sizes in my opinion are to large. The resources have been great for the 08' school year so far. Teachers are willing to offer help to students to help them do the best they can do. More after school activites would be great. Discipline seems to be an issure I notice when I attend the school. Children need to be accounted for unacceptable behavior at all times. Fairness could be handled better the peers of the students. It takes two to tango. For the most this school year has a good start. Keep up the great resources for the kids to do better academically and all things will fall in place for the students futures. Which I am sure will be bright!!
My children are doing great academically. But as a parent I have serious concerns that no parents want to come and be a part of the friends and family (PTA). I also have issues with the social skills that the children lack. Disrespect for authority is high here and the adults aren't very respectful in return because of it. A principal shouldn't have to pace the streets to stop fights after school everyday. Where is the student crossing guards? Where are the after school activities? My children have enjoyed 1 field trip a piece in 3 years. Not great or even good if you ask me.
