Well, I finally moved out of this school's zone. After three years of my daughter attending Ferron, I have decided it was time to put her education first. She is now enrolled at Bilbray. The very first thing that was brought to my attention was the fact that my honor roll student is behind. Apparently, Ferron is so busy catering to the children that do not keep up that they are several months behind. So now we need to play catch up to get her to Bilbray standards. I will not even go into the frustrations I have had with this school over the past three years. Good luck if you are sending your kids here.

I was much happier with this school when Dr. Serum and Mrs Worth were there. Dr. Serum's successor did not impress me at all and now the current pricipal seems to be no better. Rules have their palce, but the spirit of a rule should be examined. My son, an alumnus of Ferron, was not allowed to attend his sister's holiday party WITH ME after his classes were finished at Woodbury on the last day before vacation this year, because there is a rule that says children not enrolled in the school cannot be on school property. Obviously trhis rule was meant to deter truancy, not keep a kid from sharing a holiday party under his parents supervison outside of his school hours. There have been numerous examples of this rule-book swallowing policy over the years, they should take the tiem to use some common sense.
