If they would keep the kids at the school and teach them and leave the play for when they are home it would improve things vastly. My son will be gone 3 days this week on field trips, not even educational ones, just play and goofing around. They get set in front of a movie a lot at school, my son is dyslexic and adhd, and in special education with a big problem in reading, we tutor him at home a lot, but he is still behind. Common sense wise and figuring things out he is top of the heap intelligence wise, just this reading block. I wish school could be stricter and more on learning like in the 50's than the big ole playground it is now. Out of a seven hour day I estimate there to be approx. 1 hour concentrated teaching.

The school board in this county puts a very low priority on curriculum and a high priority on athletics. This has been a very frustrating problem to be faced with when it comes to educating your children. The teachers and principal are doing the best they can with what they have at their disposal, which unfortunately, isn't much.
I think we need more school activities, especially like dance or music class. Yeah, I'm a 13 yr old student, but I don't care, I think we do need them because pour school needs a music class cause alot of ppl in school love music, and owns a musical instrument, but I thik our school doesn't wanna put the money into it. I think our school doesnt have alot of money and theppl there are greedy. Not to be mean or anything, welll I gotta go now cause my mom says its time for bed, so night-night ppls. hugs and kisses.
