Best school in the A.V. K-8, catering to childrens needs, also the needs of parents. This school has been a blessing to my family.
My daughter is attending her first year at this school. I like that the classes have a low student-to-teacher ratio. I also like that they are giving children from lower-income neighborhoods a chance to get a good education, rather than being lost in the shuffle. I think her teacher is great, and it is great that progress reports are done weekly, and parents are so involved in the child's academic career. This is so important for a child's future. This school has so much potential, I hope that it continues to grow into a top-notch school.
The guidance charter school has exceeded my expectations in dedication and learning environment for students. I am so pleased with the progress my children have made in academics. The computer technology program really prepared my graduating eighth grader for the curriculum demands of high school. Not to mention the introduction to foriegn language, which has enhanced awareness and appreciation of diversity of cross culture understanding. I cannot say enough about the positive learning experience my children have had at guidance charter. Proud to be a gator mom
my children attended this school for the first time last year, the teachers were great. my son and i loved his kinder teacher. I love the 20 students per teacher concept. the curriculum is great which is why my kids will attend here next year. i love the curriculum my daughter is a GATE student and the school has incorporated that into her curriculum. However, the principal needs to respect her workers and parents more. the administration needs to be more organized and give parents more notice on school events.
