Most of the time dress code is not enforced, then suddenly one day it is enforced. Some students can break dress code and others cannot. All of the extracurricular classes have been cut except Ag. Business, Tech.Ed., cut. Band didn't march one year and it died. There just isn't much for such a large student body to choose from. Discipline seems to be lacking - not followed up on. Doesn't seem to be a lot of school spirit.
This is a great school i had one son to go there and he played football and loved it. I deffinatley would have had all my children attend and graduate from nelson county but unfortunatley we moved. But, this school is great, and if your looking then pick nelson county you will have no regrets.
Great School helps you in more ways then you will know...I am still learning and using these skills even today...
