Their commitment to excellence, dedication to serve an underprivileged population, and overall passion for education!

I couldn't have asked for a better school! Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. All of the staff are enthusiastic and genuinely concerned about the children. I look forward to a wonderful school year!

The teachers are great. Most of the kids are hispanic and there is little parent involvement. Other schools in the area have more parent involvement and more of a mix of ethnicity. I feel as though El Camino students don't have the advantage as some of the kids at other schools because of this. The schools need to have more of a fair balance amongst them. Its extremely unfair for one school to have 3 parents a day working in a classroom and another to have maybe one a week. Its also unfair for one school to have more kids struggling because of the language barrier and lack of parent support at home while the other keeps moving on ahead with ease. Not to mention the fact that schools with parents in a higher income bracket will be the bread winners as far as fund raising is concerned. Therefore the students obviously benefit more from this than the schools with the lower income parents. The school board needs to get in there and mix it up a bit.
