I continue to be impressed with Kermit King School. I don't know where they've found their teachers from, but obviously they've found the cream of the crop. Parents come to events happy, and are all very encouraging and kind to other students. The extra help classes are plentiful, and the school makes you feel warm and welcome as a whole.

My son is in first grade at Kermit King, and is a very hyper student. The principal has been nothing but good and understanding to my son's need. His teacher shows him nothing but love and understanding when he feels left out of activities or is starting to fall behind in his school work. He attends an extra class a few times a week that helps him with his reading difficulties, and the school is trying to help in any way they can to get him on the right track of learning. The staff here is patient and loving, and goes out of their way to help every child. I would recomend K.K. to anyone, and feel fortunate for my son to be in such a safe and happy environment. I don't have deep pockets, and help is still available to my son and any child there.

I believe there are many fine teachers and staff at Kermit King Elem., however, all students are not treated with the same level of professionalism and high ideals that the principal would have you believe. It has been my expereince that unless your child is gifted and contributes significantly to the schools scores then you/your child are highly regarded. However, it has also been my expereince that if your child struggles academically (and there are many) and requires additional assistance to succeed at school help very little support is truly available (they are not a title 9 school and to do not have access to the type of funding that this type of child needs to be more successful in school). Hopefully, you have deep pockets to pay for the extra tutoring, Silvan or Lindamood Bell services that your child may require. A child frustrated about learning. A Child Left Behind.

I have been in the Paso Robles area for about the last 5 years and I am very impress with the Kermit King Elementary Principal and staff in general. The principal is able to relate with my kids at their level and at the same time encorauge teacher to give their best all with love and respect.
