My son attended 1-5. He had a very, very hard time at this school. Not because of the schoolwork but because of all the unaddressed peer issues. He was severely bullied on a daily basis. The principle despite numerous requests to institute a bullying program would not do so. It resulted in a very demoralizing school experience for my son. Very disappointing and we moved as a result.

My children are flourishing at Hartshorn. It's as good as any private school, but the cost is tax deductible. I'd call that a 'win-win.'

Hartshorn Elementary is geared to students who are able and ready to be learning at or above their grade level. I love Hhartshorn! It is so cool we have recess and we do cool stuff with ourr teachers! This is one of the best school districts with a good twist for kids like me! The lunchaids and all staff here are so cool. I am a safety and we make sure younger kids stay safe so you don't have worry about your child not to have supervision when she gets there as early as 8:20 am and then we go into classes and after school we stay into about 3:10 pm. Go Hartshorn!
