Glenwood Elementary School

We just completed our first year @ Glenwood and we are blown away by this school. The principal and staff are incredible--personable, involved, caring and incredibly nurturing. The teachers are experienced, tenured and very caring. The curriculum is as advanced as the private schools my children previously attended. The music program is AMAZING. They have an excellent after school program. The school radiates warmth, the walls are papered with art work, children run about happily and I feel happy leaving my kids there every day. The only critique I have is that the car pool at the end of the day is not as secure as I would prefer. It is a privilidge to have my children attend this incredibly fine institution. Schools like this are a a rare find. F and educators like Dr. Jasin, the principal, are equally rare.

My son attended kindergarten at Glenwood last year. It was an amazing experience! The school's staff work as a real team, are caring and kind, with an obvious goal of bringing out the best in each child. I never expected a public school to live up to my high expectations. This one has.

I am a parent of a 6 year old girl that attends Glenwood Elementary School and I have to say that I am impressed. Coming from NY and one of the better public schools I was astounded at the level of care that the staff has for every child. My child is in wonderful hands and the education that she is receiving is fantastic as well.
